Let This Radicalize You Book Discussion Group
Please join us in a two-session book discussion group on Let This Radicalize You: Organizing and the Revolution of Reciprocal Care, by long-time organizers and movement educators Kelly Hayes and Mariame Kaba.
When: Tues. Oct. 6 and Tues. Oct. 20 from 7 to 8:30pm
Where: Syracuse Center for Peace and Social Justice top floor, 2013 E. Genesee St., Syracuse 13210. The Center is accessible.

Organized by the Syracuse Peace Council in honor of 90 years of educating, agitating and organizing and the vision to continue the work for many years to come. The facilitators of the group are Aly Wane and Carol Baum.

About the authors:
Kelly is a Menominee author, organizer, movement educator and photographer. She is host of Truthout‘s podcast Movement Memos and the creator of Organizing My Thoughts, a weekly newsletter about politics and justice work, among many other things. She is also the author of Read This When Things Fall Apart, a collection of letters to activists and organizers who are struggling.
Mariame is an organizer, educator, archivist and curator, whose work focuses on ending violence, dismantling the prison-industrial complex, transformative justice and supporting youth leadership development. She is one of the pre-eminent abolitionist organizers in the nation, having founded numerous organizations including Project NIA, a group focused on ending youth incarceration and We Charge Genocide, a group dedicated to ending police violence, especially against youth of color, as well as many other projects.
