Description
Dana Stenson pairs traditional metal smithing techniques with a contemporary design aesthetic. I find inspiration from the natural world around me. Sterling silver, gold, natural stones, and occasional found objects are my materials. Soldering, forming, lost wax casting, piercing, stone-setting, roll-printing, etc. are techniques used in my work. Each piece is made entirely by hand by me in my studio.
