Description
Christine McLaughlin makes art pieces because she loves to create and exercise her freedom in decision making and problem solving. She carries this love through to creating functional ceramic artworks that are lively, unique and also contain a bit of whimsical mystery. Toying with a change in surface design while rotating her pieces should involve lighthearted wonder and enjoyment at various sensory possibilities. Surfaces may evolve from rough to smooth or bumpy while enjoying the visual joy in a variety of calming, pleasing and often analogous colors.
