Never Again – March for a Nuclear Free Future

This year will mark 71 years since the tragic nuclear bombings of the Japanese cities of Hiroshima and Nagasaki in August 1945.

The procession will step off from the City Hall Commons at the corner of Warren and Washington in the shade on Tuesday, August 9 at noon. Please join us for this beautiful and moving event. Lineup starts at 11:30am.

Peace Picnic: Remembering Hiroshima

On Saturday August 6, there will also be a Peace Picnic to remember the tragic nuclear bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki at the Thornden Park Lily Pond from 5pm to sundown.

There will be peace games, crafts, yoga, singing, latern floating and food by SPC, Aloha Japanese Bento Express and My Lucky Tummy's new restaurant project.
