Solarize Syracuse is a grassroots community solar initiative for the City of Syracuse and the Towns of DeWitt, Manlius and Onondaga.

We are on a mission to combine the purchasing power of our community to save money and the planet. The workshops will cover how solar works, and we’ll tell you how you can save money with our bulk purchasing program. Our local community solar experts will answer your questions to help you decide whether solar energy is right for your home or business. We’ll also tell you about other ways to save money and save energy, and how to take advantage of state and federal tax credits, subsidies and low-interest financing available for reducing your energy use and producing your own electricity.

SOLARIZE SYRACUSE is organized by Alliance for a Green Economy, CNY Regional Planning and Development Board, Frack Action, Greening USA, New York Interfaith Power and Light, Peace Action CNY, and Syracuse Peace Council.  Co-sponsored by Partnership for Onondaga Creek, Syracuse Community Choir, and People for Animal Rights.
