We'll have a "No U.S. Military Intervention phone booth" where people can call their representatives, leaflet and stand with signs.

President Obama, in his Thursday (6/19/2014) speech said:
... in recent days we’ve positioned additional U.S. military assets in the region. Because of our increased intelligence resources, we’re developing more information about potential targets associated with ISIL, and going forward, we will be prepared to take targeted and precise military action if and when we determine that the situation on the ground requires it...

It has been excruciating to watch the intense suffering and expanding humanitarian crises in the Middle East. The continued tragedy in Iraq is a predictable outcome of many years of western aggression and the recent U.S. invasion and occupation. U.S. military intervention will only cause more suffering and destruction. We call for:

  • No U.S. military intervention of any kind
  • Redirect the money that would have been spent on military intervention into humanitarian aid, to be administered through internationally recognized aid agencies.
