Climate March NYC September 17

For weeks this summer, it’s been too hot to be outside, or too smoky to breathe.

Families are forced to evacuate as homes are swept away by floods, burned down in mega-fires, or destroyed in hurricanes.

Our water is too polluted to drink.

Wild and beautiful places are disappearing, and creatures big and small are dying.

Our democracy is under threat from the corrupting influence of fossil fuel money in politics — and it’s clear if we don’t take action, the environment will continue to deteriorate right in front of our eyes.

We’ll only see WORSE summers and winters to come.

That’s why we need as many folks showing up on September 17th for the March to End Fossil Fuels — a mass mobilization to demand our leaders take bold action to address the leading cause of the climate crisis and #EndFossilFuels.

We’re organizing a bus for the Sunday, September 17 Climate March in NYC! The March to End Fossil Fuels is the kickoff event to Climate Week and takes place 3 days before the UN Climate Ambition Summit when world leaders will gather to commit to phasing out fossil fuels.
