Plowshares Craftsfair and Peace Festival

50th Annual Plowshares Craftsfair and Peace Festival

December 5-6, 2020

Nottingham High School, Syracuse, NY map

(Saturday 10-5; Sunday 10:30-4:30)

Plowshares is Central New York's premiere multicultural craftsfair, featuring over 120 local craftspeople and community organizations.

A beautiful community of activists, conscientious consumers and fair traders gather for a weekend of commerce and communing at the Plowshares Craftsfair and Peace Festival. Plowshares is an opportunity to step into the kind of world we’re working so hard to create: a place of justice, of peace, of compassion, of environmental sustainability. Plowshares is a labor of love that comes together thanks to the help of many volunteers.

Currently, we remain unsure if we will be able to have the craftsfair, due to many uncertain factors related to the Covid-19 pandemic, including the use of the space. In the event we cannot have the fair as usual, we are exploring alternative options, but we ask that you remain patient as we will not have any definitive answers until, well, there are more definitive answers to give. We hope you understand.

New! Download the 2020 application (PDF) for craftspeople and community groups.

Application deadline: Friday, June 12, 2020.

Applications must be mailed (postmarked) by the deadline. We cannot take dropoffs at the office this year. Please note that applications postmarked after the deadline are placed on a waiting list.

For questions, please contact us or send an e-mail to plowshares@peacecouncil.net.
