It has been excruciating to watch the intense suffering and expanding humanitarian crises in the Middle East. The continued tragedy in Iraq is a predictable outcome of many years of western aggression and the recent U.S. invasion and occupation. U.S. military intervention will only cause more suffering and destruction. We call for:
- No U.S. military intervention of any kind
- Redirect the money that would have been spent on military intervention into humanitarian aid, to be administered through internationally recognized aid agencies.
